Freshonista: a foodie who craves fresh quality ingredients, bold flavors and handcrafted cocktails (aka ME).
This past Thanksgiving my husband Brian and I returned to our hometown in PA to visit family & friends for the holiday. Instead of flying from JAX->PHL, like all of our previous visits, we decided to make it a road trip...
During our drive back to Sunny, Florida we stopped in Columbia, South Carolina (hour 11) for a quick bite to eat.
Now I must say I can't remember the last time I ate at Ruby Tuesday, but I what I can promise you is that the experience was NOTHING like the one we just encountered.
The restaurant, service, food, drinks and just about every other detail nearly blew my mind. I consider myself to be some sort of epicure, so this kind of raving is almost unheard of... anyways I felt the need to share my recent experience with the world.
While enjoying our fresh made to order Garlic Cheese Biscuits, I decided to Google the place on my iPhone. I remember reading the following blurb and thinking to myself how the writer must have been sitting right behind me.. listening to my every ohh and ahhh....
Pride makes us a family. This is our home. You are our guest. And we will attend to your dining experience with a degree of care and attention to detail unrivaled anywhere. A deep desire to serve others is the secret weapon of a gracious host. And it's why, at Ruby Tuesday, we want you to always leave with a smile. - Our Story, Ruby Tuesday
Whatever Ruby Tuesday has done to change the entire image of their restaurant chain is exactly what I'm looking to do for myself. Improve. Shock. Wow. I plan to use this blog as a tool to document my transformation. Stay tuned for great things to come...
Oh and one more thing! When you finally decide to give in and go make sure to order the Fresh Guacamole Dip as an app... you wouldn't be disappointed ;)
